Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Advancements in Mathematics offers rapid publication of research articles. The article processing time is approximately 4-6 weeks. Accepted articles are posted in the press section (In Press) for online publication and will be published in the next issue. Author’s guidelines for submission of manuscript to the International Journal of Advancements in Mathematics are given below.  

Copyright

Submission of a manuscript assumes that the work has not been published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. International Journal of Advancements in Mathematics publications are freely available for distribution, copying, distribution, transmission and adaptation, provided the source and original work are properly cited.

Plagiarism Policy

Submission of an entirely original work, giving due credit, by virtue of proper citations, to the works and words of others where they have been used, is the authors’ responsibility. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical behaviour in publishing and is not acceptable.  International Journal of Advancements in Mathematics follows plagiarism policy as provided by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad. Similarity index from a single source should not exceed than 5% and overall it should not be more than 19% as a whole. 

Article Submission

Authors must ensure that the manuscript format meets the International Journal of Advancements in Mathematics's requirements at the time of submission. Articles should have full names of authors and corresponding author, abstract, and keywords separate from the main text.

Cover Letter

A cover letter of about 300 words is required stating the importance of the study and the authors' consent for publication. Also write number of figures and tables and other additional information.

 Contact Detail

Provide full name of all authors indicating the corresponding author name. Provide email address and affiliation detail of all authors.

Article Formatting Guidelines

Manuscript Title

The tittle of the manuscript should be less than 25 words. Do not use abbreviations in the title.

Author Information

Provide full names and address of authors, including contact detail (telephone, Fax and Email address) of corresponding author.

Abstract

A brief paragraph not more than 300 words maximum. Self-explanatory abstract should clearly state; (1) Background (question addressed and the purpose of the study); (2) Briefly description of methods applied; (3) The main findings of the study; (4) The main conclusion of the study. The abstract is an objective representation of the research study and do not exaggerate the main conclusions.

Keywords

Author will provide list of relevant 3 - 9 keywords.  

Introduction

The introduction should summarize the research with a vivid presentation in a broader context. It should highlight the importance of the work and clearly include the relevant literature by reviewing the current state of the research field. Introduction should be comprehensible to the readers from a broad range of scientific disciplines.

Materials and Methods

Provision of a complete study design, a comprehensive description of materials, interventions, and analyses. Proper citation must be given to the previous published procedures and provide detailed description for the new procedures. Necessary modifications should be mentioned briefly regarding the published procedures.

Results and Discussion

This section of results and discussion should provide the complete experimental information needed to support the completion of the study. Results and discussion should be in separate sections. Use past tense to report the experimental details and results. Discussion should draw together the results, briefly relate the author's results to other work on the subject.

Conclusion and Recommendations

Write the main conclusion of the work along with policy recommendations. It should not be more than two paragraphs.

Acknowledgement

A paper should contain appropriate acknowledgment of work by others, including evident signs of the sources of all information offered, aside from what is normal information. The author(s) should likewise recognize the commitments of individuals, associations and organizations who helped the course of exploration, including the individuals who gave specialized assistance, composing help or financial funding.

References

At the time of submission, there is no any special requirement of a particular reference style. The journal will set the reference style after acceptance of article. Authors will be asked to format references after the acceptance of article.

Publication Fee

International Journal of Advancements in Mathematics is an Open Access journal. International Journal of Advancements in Mathematics is a self-supporting journal without any funding from institution/government. The activity of the journal is just financed by the handling charges get from the authors, scholastic/corporate sponsors and paid individuals. The handling charges are necessary to meet the expenditures of the journal. All articles published by the International Journal of Advancements in Mathematics are accessible with no charges on the web. There are no submission charges but a fair handling fee for publishing articles by authors is required upon acceptance of manuscript for publication.

The cost for publication of Open Access article(s) has been set up country wise as per country’s economic situation.

For High Income Countries Publication Fee is $ 250

For Middle Income Countries Publication Fee is $ 200

For Low Income Countries Publication Fee is $ 150

Fee matters regarding concession/relaxation may be dealt on merit bases. Fees will not be a hurdle in publishing a quality work. Publication fee waiver requests may please be sent to the accounts section of the journal at; accounts@scienceimpactpub.com
